Brussels, Belgium - June 23, 2023 - The European Association of Data Protection Professionals (EADPP) is pleased to announce the launch of the first version of the European Catalog on data protection technology solutions on June 27. This pioneering initiative, a non-commercial educational project, aims to provide information and resources to promote GDPR compliance and privacy-preserved data sharing.

Key highlights of the European Catalog include: 

1. Comprehensive Solutions Database: The Catalog presents a diverse range of technology solutions designed to address the evolving needs of organizations in safeguarding personal data. 
2. Regular Updates: EADPP is dedicated to ensuring the Catalog remains current and relevant. Regular updates are planned. With additional participants already submitting their applications, the next edition is scheduled for release in autumn this year. 
3. Global Participation: While the focus is on European providers of GDPR-ready tools, the Catalog also welcomes participation from privacy-preserved solutions from around the world. This inclusive approach fosters collaboration and facilitates the exchange of global expertise in data protection. 
4. Knowledge sharing platform: In addition to the Catalog, the EADPP project includes a dedicated knowledge sharing platform. This platform will allow the Catalog participants to present how their solutions address data protection pain points, while end-users and buyers can share their experiences and concerns.
